Judge:   Mrs Sharon Henesey

I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for the opportunity to judge their Special Classes at their recent Open Show held at Bletchingley.

Special Junior:  9 (3)

It was only later that I found out that my first three places in this class were all litter mates.  The majority of the comments apply to all three, which I am sure could change places on a different day.

1st:       Gill’s   Stagarth Don’t Stop Me Now At Brenros  12 month dog with maturity.  Good Masculine head with nice dark eye & soft expression, good shoulders and plenty of heartroom.  Lovely bone and tight feet, moved with drive.

2nd       Charles’ Stagarth A Kind Of Magic, beautiful headed girl so close to above, tight feet, good bone and depth of chest, neat ears moved well.

3rd        Ridge’s Stagarth Now I’m Here At Saanu

Special Post Graduate: 4

1ST       Madeley’s  Barhi Flaming Star 3 year old bitch with good head flowing into nice long neck and good layback of shoulders.  Good depth of chest  & spring of ribs with balanced angles.  Nice tight feet moved soundly and with drive.

2nd       Greenway’s Ferndel Story Time lovely headed bitch of 2 years, soft expression and dark eyes, good depth of chest with nice tight feet.  Very close decision between these two but just preferred movement of one on the day.

3rd        Woodhams’ Tobermyn Minstrel Boy

Special Open: 4 (2)

1st        Caldwell & McDowell  SH CH Gemill Back To The Future for Cerysan JW Lovely dog with great style, masculine head, nicely angled fore and aft standing on lovely tight feet.  Won this class on his movement.

2nd       Sutherland CH Julita Rezanella Of Jacranella, pretty 6 year old bitch of good breed type, good body proportions, bone and feet but carrying a little too much weight which spoilt her movement.
